Lausatian mountains do not belong to the highest ones in the Czech Republic, though there is wide range of possibilities for winter sports and activities.

Downhill skiing:

Cross-country skiing (maintained trails):

• Zittauer Gebirge – more than 40 km of well-maintained ski-trails in Waltersdorf up to Lückendorf

Sledging:

• Oybin, Waltersdorf (D)
• Hrádek in Varnsdorf

Skating and Ice-hockey:

• Winter hall in Rumburk and Jonsdorf (D)
• Winter stadium in Varnsdorf
