Historical Upper Lausatian and Northern Bohemian towns (Liberec)

The largest town with minority of Lausatian Sorbs living in Saxony is Bautzen (Budyšín). Worth seeing are also following Saxonian towns:

• Oderwitz

In Northern Bohemia (CZ), the regional centre is Liberec at approx. 40 km distance from our hotel. It is real centre of winter sports in the whole Czech Republic, in 2009 there was the World´s Championship in Nordic skiing. Every year Liberec organizes World cup in ski-jump, cross-country skiing and Nordic combination.

Liberec is famous for its ZOO (white tigers). Above the town there is a dominant tower on the hill Ještěd (the largest hill of the Lausatian mountains).In this town you can enjoy stay in Aquapark and Entertainment centre babylon -. Both are recommended also for visit with children.
